Original - Oil on canvas 18" x 24" I prepped the canvas with an archival texture paste and white gesso before painting. This created the rural "homey" feel to the room environment. The objects of African art were taken from my personal collection and some from pictures of museum pieces. I wanted to re create a room environment that reflects my culture in home décor. The use of a limited palette ties the room together. Room With A View I is in a private collection. .
