The Boxhole meteorite is from the Boxhole Crater discovered in 1937 in Boxhole Australia at which time, metallic iron fragments were found. The impact is estimated to have occurred between 11,000 to 5,000 years ago which is relatively young in geological terms. The piece showcased in this necklace is an impressive dense and solid specimen, with a lovely reddish-brown patina. It is artistically accented with obsidian, green tourmaline, peacock ore, citrine, Padparadsha sapphire, and Mozambique garnet. The chain is 30” in length. This necklace comes in a gold gift box  with the meteorite certificate of authenticity.
