Babaraj

Babaraj is a work inspired by the life of the Great Siddha Master Baba Muktananda, sometimes referred to as the 'Lion of Ganeshpuri.'   ‘Raj’ means ‘royal,’ and Muktananda exuded the demeanor of a wise and beneficent king in his dealings with all people.  At the same time he demonstrated humility, giving all praise and honor to his own Guru, Bhagavan Nityananda.  On a daily basis, Muktananda was available to meet with anyone who came to see him and answer their questions, as all great beings do.   Baba Muktananda often wielded a wand of perfumed peacock feathers, greeting visitors and devotees alike with a warm smile as he bestowed a gentle swoosh and bop on the head with his wand. He often spoke of seeing Consciousness as a pervasive and shimmering blue light.
