This vintage 1850s Martin 2-27 (size 2, style 27) guitar is a testament to why C.F. Martin guitars have the respect of players and collectors world wide, considering that this guitar is over 150 years old. This is in Very Good condition and while there is considerable play wear to the top's original finish, the guitar remains crack free. The back and sides are beautiful crack free Brazilian Rosewood and there is wonderful detailing throughout with a bound body and fingerboard. With its recent neck reset and refret by T.J. Thompson, the guitar is in beautiful playing condition. The pyramid bridge is either original or an exact size replica. The tuners are beautiful and original Jeromes with bone buttons. This guitar is ready for the the next 150 years! This Martin 2-27 guitar includes a non-original, perfect fitting modern hard case too.
