While aging for up to 6 years, a small portion (approximately 5% each year) of the Rye evaporates; this is known as "the Angel's share", the excess is what considered the envy of even the Angel's, hence the name. Made from malted barely and aged for up to 18 months this Rye is blended twice in rum casks to give it a unique spice finish. Notes: Smooth with sweet finish.
