The Bosun is the original rigging knife created by Captain Charles Currey (CBE, RN) in 1946, just after he returned home from World War II. It was the first knife of its kind to be constructed of all stainless steel with a locking marlinspike and a slot for opening shackles. Today it remains a favorite among experienced sailors, yachtsmen and collectors alike.  Includes rope lanyard with sliding Turk's Head knot, which is adjustable from 22" to 40".
