Also works great for whipping, seizing and/or color coding lines!  SPECS: UV Stable - Waxed Polyester Flat Construction x .039 in wideBulk Spool 1/4 lb x 280 yards ea. COMMENTS: The wax serves as a lubricant for reducing friction, especially when sewing heavier materials like sailcloth, canvas, leather, rope, etc. Wax also has a sealing effect on the holes after the stitch has been completed. For sailmaking and structural sewing, we often prefer a contrasting thread color, which makes it easier to visually inspect the stitching at a glance (...or notice a small problem before it becomes a big one!). For example, white stitches on white sailcloth can be nearly invisible in bright sunlight, whereas blue, red or gold stitches will be more easily observable, even from a distance.  Also available:
