Matricaria recutita These German Chamomile seedlings are available in 4 inch pots and 6-pack. In the Garden Grows best in zones 5 through 8. Full Sun. Moist and well-drained soil. This self-seeding annual can grow 2 feet tall. Harvest flowers in July and August, just after dew has dried. In the Apothecary Use an extract of fresh flower in alcohol or glycerite. Water infusion of fresh or dried flower. Oil infusion of dried flower. German Chamomile provides nervous system support.
