St. Bartholomew`s Eve the Extraordinary Adventures of G.A. Henty

Huddled together in a small chateau, mothers and children cling to each other. Weeping. Men stand guard. Waiting. Outside their walls, government troops prepare a battering ram for their final assault on the Christians of France, the Huguenots. 16-year-old Philip Fletcher now realizes this is the end.
