Bocote Wood Pen with Red Resin and Aluminum Bands: Banded Bocote

One of our favorite woods to turn, Bocote has a striking grain pattern. As a weird bonus, it smells like mustard when you cut into it! The Bocote wood pen barrel is banded in with polished aluminum and red resin. The red resin has a touch of black in it, mirroring the black grain patterns of the Bocote. The pen barrel has a durable, glossy CA finish, so no worries - no mustard smell for you! The durable gunmetal plating complements the aluminum bands nicely. This is a medium weight, medium-to-long click pen.Each pen is handmade one at a time in our shop. All pens can be refilled with widely available ink refills. Regardless of material, each pen goes through a multi-stage sanding and polishing process to achieve maximum shine.
