Handmade Wooden Fountain Pen: Bastrop

A very elegant, understated fountain pen, this handmade wooden fountain pen is for the discerning pen collector. The wooden cap screws onto the rear of the pen body (posts) when not in use, so it won’t get lost on your desk. Only a wax protective coating is used on the wood to prevent fingerprints, so if you are a fan of natural-feeling wood pens, you will like this one. The Australian Mallee Burl is visually interesting, and almost looks like leather from a distance. This is a large, but not overly-heavy fountain pen.Each pen is handmade one at a time in our shop. All pens can be refilled with widely available ink refills. Regardless of material, each pen goes through a multi-stage sanding and polishing process to achieve maximum shine.
