Whether you’re a curious beginner or looking to get more confident working your own hives, this immersive class will walk you through both the theory and the practice of small-scale, sustainable beekeeping in Arkansas.  What to Expect: Classroom Session (1.5 hours)We’ll cover hive types, honeybee biology, seasonal hive management in Arkansas, common issues, and how to troubleshoot them, and what a “typical” year of beekeeping looks like here in the South. Lunch Break (30 minutes)Enjoy a light lunch with drinks, including garden-fresh teas and locally roasted coffee. In-Hive Experience (2 hours)Get suited up and work bees in our backyard hives! Participants will have the chance to open active colonies, identify b
