The son of a single parent mother, Terrance Barnes, a.k.a. "Cold Blooded", has been preparing for his shot at being in the spotlight since 1986. Born and raised in New Orleans, the 13 year rap veteran never faced a beef he could not handle, or an MC he could not dismantle. Unlike many who have left the South for seemingly greener pastures, he had no intention of departing New Orleans. "I got props where ever I rapped, from house parties, sessions to block parties" says Cold Blooded. Going by the name of Cold Tee while in Junior High School at Gregory, he turned Cold Blooded in High School at John McDonogh. "I've gotten better over the years, my name was ringing" says Cold Blooded. Still no doors were opening to him. "I wanted to give up, but I kept the faith, kept writing and put it in the Lords hands." It was not until 1998 that Cold Blooded signed with producers Lil J and Tut of ONE SHOT RECORDS.
