18th Century Southern American Square Tilt Top Tea Table We are offering... A wonderful, early American tilt top tea table. This table has a very unique square top, with notched edges. The tilt top is held down by an original catch lock. The base of this table has a reeded urn design, a very special detail, which end in cabriole legs and snake feet. The knees of the legs have a signature palmetto motif, which could attribute this table to the American south, specifically the Carolinas. The original hand forged table spider is still attached to where the legs meet the base. This is a fabulous tea table, that has aged very well over the years. Approx.
