Vienna Austria Silver Salt Cellar, 1803 Karl Sedlmayer maker 812 - 937 Silver

We are offering  An early, 1803,  Vienna, Austria, Silver Salt Cellarwith it's original mostly faded gold wash interior.The Silver fineness is either 13 Loth (812) or 15 Loth (937)The silver fineness number has been rubbed and is hard to read. The makers mark is for the Vienna Austria Silversmith Karl Sedlmayer (1797 - 1808) This is a single silver salt cellar with a lightly faded gold wash interior  a double scroll design stand on a fan designed silver base. The City, Date, and makers marks are on both the inside of the cellar and at the bottom of the piece. The salt cellar does not have a liner. Approx. Dimensions: Height: 2 3/4" diameter: 2 1/2" Approx. weight: 97 grams Condition: The 1803  silver salt cellar is in fine age related condition with light fading to the gold washed interior.  Minuit dents to base and top dish.  (SEE PHOTOS)                    ID. 80                                                  LOC.
