*Pictures in this listing represent the EXACT animal you will receive.* Checkered garter snakes (Thamnophis marcianus)are a beautiful species of garter snake native to the southwestern United States, Mexico, and Central America. They average 18”-24” but can reach up to 42” in length.   This young male is a field-collected animal from McCulloch Co. TX that has been with us since April of 2024 and would be great for introducing a fresh bloodline to a future breeding project. Currently feeding on f/t pinkie mice.  Currently available animal is field-collected and was treated preventively for external parasites upon acquisition.   *We are a licensed dealer and propagator of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and fish in the state of Pennsylvania.
