Fluffy Camel Spider (Paragaleodes sp. Egypt)

Fluffy camel spiders (Paragaleodes sp. Egypt) are a colorful and debatably adorable species of solifugid commonly imported from Egypt. Solifugids are generally thought of as short-lived and difficult to care for however more keepers have been having long-term success in recent years as more is learned about their captive husbandry. It seems cooler temps, infrequent feeding, and smaller enclosures with several inches of substrate for burrowing can lead to longer lifespans and successful molts.  Currently available specimens are field-collected juveniles from Egypt. The are approximately 3/4"-1.5". These smaller animals are ideal for those looking for a better chance at long-term success with the species.
