Ground Wolf Spider (Trochosa terricola)

Ground wolf spiders (Trochosa terricola) are a small species of wolf spider from the eastern United States. This is a neat little species that isn't commonly offered in the captive hobby. While they may not have the impressive size of Hogna or Tigrosa species they share many of the same qualities, such as their aggressive feeding response, that attract keepers to the larger wolf spider species. Currently available specimens are field-collected sub-adults and adults.
