Smooth-sided Toad (Rhaebo guttatus)

Smooth-sided toads (Rhaebo guttatus) are an impressive species of true toad native to northern South America. They can reach sizes of up to 9” with females being a bit larger than males on average. Smooth-sided toads do well with high humidity and temperatures from the mid 70’s to low 80’s. While they are mostly terrestrial, these toads will utilize a water area for soaking if it is provided and feed well on most invertebrate prey.    Currently available specimen is a field-collected juvenile.  *The animal in the pictures is the exact animal you will receive.*
