Places in the Multiverse "Places in the Multiverse (an infinite realm of being or potential of which the universe is regarded as a part or instance) is a series of photomontages made from images of my sculptures and architectural models. Photos were taken with a digital camera and then placed into a computer where the original backgrounds in the photos were removed. The isolated images were duplicated in a single image and merged together opposed to each other in a symmetrical orientation. Those merged symmetrical images were copied into multiple layers and placed one behind the other while increasing the scale of each image a little each time. The finished multilayered images were then placed onto a black background. The final result produced new and unexpected images of places made from the original models. These new formations are extremely complex looking, and the multilayered construction symbolically refers to their possible existence in a theoretical multiverse. The hope is tha
