The OBC Single Chamber Bat House was designed by the Organization for Bat Conservation and over 10 years of research has proven it has an 80% occupancy rate. It is constructed of long lasting, Western red cedar and has a 3/4 inch exterior plywood back. It has a nylon interior mesh for bats to hold on to and a long landing area for easy entrance. The slanted roof is sealed to keep rain out and heat in and it has a ventilation slot for air circulation. It can be mounted to a tree, building or pole. Will accommodate up to 100 bats.
