Abiding Summer Necklace | #10

A fleeting moment caught in glowing gemstone and the deep shadows of summertime shade set into all the corners. A butterfly that has alighted below the neck and can keep you company always. This necklace is made from gorgeous Montana agate gemstones, cut as a pair.  On the backs of the agates, I have sawn tiny geometric and slightly irregular windows, to look like the patterning of a butterfly wing.  The windows allow the light to stream through. I love to hold them up to the light and see all the tiny swirls of color and opacity. ☀ Suspended from a chain adjustable from 17" - 20" ☀ See the photos of the ring being held size reference, I can also provide measurements if you like!  ______________________________________________♥ Made in my work studio using time-consuming, age-old metalsmithing techniques.
