B-1B Lancer Kit Card

Kit card of a Rockwell B-1B Lancer. A supersonic bomber operated by the USAF featuring a variable geometry wing.   The B-1 Lancer produced by Rockwell is a supersonic, variable geometry wing, heavy bomber. nicknamed Bone (B-One), it was introduced 1986 and is still in service. the first variant (B-1A) was deemed too expensive and canceled in favor of ICBM's. the program was later revisited in 1981 and developed the B-1B Lancer. Since then, it has had five upgrades with the latest being the Block-E, providing better avionics, Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW), and Joint Air to Surface Standoff Munition (JASSM) capabilities.
