1.5L Magnum Larmandier-Bernier 'Longitude' Blanc Champagne

Based on the 2019 vintage with 30% of reserve wines in the blend, the Larmandier Bernier Longitude Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Premier Cru NV was harvested quite ripe for the vintage and vinified in a combination of stainless steel, large barrels and barrique; sur lie during the winter. It was finished with a four grams per liter dosage. It opens with toasty and rich aromas of apple pie, butter croissant, white flowers, Manuka honey and a good whiff of mineral freshness. The light to medium-bodied palate has a beautiful, broadly knit mouthfeel enlivened by silky, stimulating acidity. It finishes long and concentrated. 94 Pts The Wine Independent
