1/2 Cubic Yard Grow Green Vermicompost

Item Details: Grow Green Vermicompost comes from pre-consumer food scraps (rinds, peelings, seeds, etc.) and coffee grounds from MSU dining facilities. It is mixed with leaves and other locally sourced dry organic material and briefly hot composted before being processed by red wiggler worms. The end result is a well-aged and stable soil amendment.  This item is unscreened and may contain some contamination.Learn more about our vermicomposting process here! This item is sold by the half cubic yard. This is a loose product to be loaded into a pickup truck or trailer. An appointment is required for pickup. Pickup hours are Monday-Friday between 8am and 3pm. We will contact you after your order has been placed to schedule a pickup.   How to use Grow Green: Top Dressing Plants: Sprinkle a small amount on the soil of your beds prior to watering (1/4 “on surface).  Repeat regularly for best results.
