Tenth Air Force was constituted on February 4, 1942, and activated on February 12 as an element of the Air Combat Command. It moved to India on March 5, 1942, and served in the India-Burma Theater and in China until March 1943 when Fourteenth Air Force was activated in China . Then the Tenth operated in India and Burma until it moved to - China late in July 1945, where it remained until the end of the conflict. CAMPAIGNS.
