Shell Sol OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits) is a low polarity hydrocarbon solvent with an aromatics content of <0.1%.  It is an isoparaffinic solvent which has been synthesized from selected hydrocarbons under conditions that exclude virtually all odor-producing fractions. Shell Sol OMS is consequently highly stable and retains its virtually odorless quality under normal conditions and extended storage. Synonyms:  Shell Sol 71.
