Intro to 3D Gallery Design

Course Dates April 4, 2021 - May 1, 2021 Course Description Planning how your exhibit will fill a physical space can be challenging. Digital tools can make the gallery planning process more streamlined and help you communicate your ideas to colleagues, visitors, and funders.In this course participants will draft a 3D model of a gallery, lay out cases in the gallery, and create presentation materials to share their gallery plan with colleagues.As a participant you will come away with: SketchUp skills, a great addition to your resume 3D model of a gallery in your museum that you can use again and again professional looking floorplans 3D animated flythrough of your gallery plan images for your portfolio About the Instructor Margaret Middleton is an independent exhibit designer currently based in Belfast, Northern Ireland and working at the intersection of design and social justice.
