Introduction to Critical Museum Interpretation

Course Dates November 1, 2021 - November 29, 2021 Course Description How are museums approaching storytelling in the 21st century? Museum interpretation is constantly evolving as institutions infuse critical theory to engage various audiences through education and public programs. In this course we will reflect upon and critique current museum practices for audience engagement. Students will develop an interpretive planning model and create a presentation to share with the class.
