Armageddon soundtrack 7M Sold Columbia/Sony Records Award
Columbia/Sony label award recognizing 7 million in global sales of the Armageddon: The Album soundtrack. Released June 23, 1998, the album shot to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and several other world charts on the strength of the film's success and the hits on the album. Several of the tracks first appeared only on this album including Aerosmith tracks "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" (#1 on the Billboard Hot 100) and "What Kind of Love Are You On", along with Journey's "Remember Me", and Bon Jovi's "Mister Big Time".
