Bread Guitar Man 1972 Disc Award Ltd - RARE
Vintage and in great condition, this is a 1972 label award (i.e. non-RIAA) made by Disc Award Ltd. recognizing success of the classic Bread album Guitar Man. The album produced three hits for the group: "Aubrey", "Sweet Surrender", and the title track. The album reached #18 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. It is presented to Stan Marshall, who was Elektra Records National Sales Manager. The award is all original, including having the Disc Award Ltd. logo engraved on the gold disc, engraved plate, black felt matte and award manufacturer's stamp on the rear. Remember late Bread members Larry Knechtel, Jimmy Griffin and Mike Botts with this award.
