Record label award for the Cyndi Lauper's debut "platinum" album She's So Unusual and "gold" single for "Girls Just Want To Have Fun." Released on October 14, 1983, the album was indeed certified Platinum by the RIAA on May 7, 1984 for one million copies sold, while the single went Gold on April 2, 1984. Note: This is not a RIAA award. A huge success that ushered Lauper into pop stardom, the album landed four singles into the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart including "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", "All Through The Night", "She Bop" and "Time After Time", the latter of which went to #1.  It was the first album by a female artist to ever have four singles in the top 5 of the chart. The album itself peaked at #4 on the Top 200 Albums chart and #1 in Canada. The release also earned Lauper two Grammy awards and by 1997 had reached 6x Multi-Platinum status.
