Smooth jazz and jazz instrumentalist Kenny G hit #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums chart and reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums and R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts with this release. "Forever in Love" also won him a Grammy award for Best Instrumental Composition in 1994 and the album also did well internationally.
