RIAA Platinum Album award for Kenny G album Duotones. The album was released on July 24, 1986 and by June 12, 1987 was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold. Featuring one of, if not the most, famous Kenny G tracks, "Songbird", this was the prolific jazz sax player's fourth album. "Songbird" went to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped the album to #1 on the Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, #5 on the Jazz Albums chart, and #6 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums tally. By 1995 the album was certified 5x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for five million sold.
