RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum LP award for Mötley Crüe album Girls, Girls, Girls. Released on May 11, 1987, the album was certified 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on Sept. 16, 1987 for two million copies sold. "Girls, Girls, Girls", "You're All I Need", and "Wild Side" became hits off the album, with "Wild Side" not released as a single but garnering major video play on MTV. The album reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. The album also scored chart positions on many other country charts around the world. By 1995 it was certified 4x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for four million sold.
