This track was released in May 1981 and while this is not a RIAA award, the track was in fact certified Gold by the RIAA on Sept. 2, 1981 for one million copies sold (listed as "Slowhand"). Note: This is not a RIAA award. The single went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also went to #10 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the group's first entry into the top 10 there.
