Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream RIAA Platinum Album Award

RIAA Gold Album award for the Smashing Pumpkins album Siamese Dream. It was released on July 27, 1993 and by Nov. 17, 1993 was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold.  The second studio album from the Chicago group led by Billy Corgan produced the hits "Cherub Rock", "Today", "Disarm", and "Rocket" and broke the group open to even more worldwide success after their debut Gish established them as one to watch. The group picked up a pair of Grammy award nominations and the the album reached #10 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, #4 in the UK and it also did well in many other world markets.
