RIAA Platinum LP award for British new wave band The Fixx for their album Reach The Beach. Released as their second studio album on May 5, 1983, it was certified Platinum by the RIAA on Jan. 5, 1984 for one million copies sold. Both "One Thing Leads To Another" and "Saved By Zero" became hits for the band.
