RIAA Gold album for Warren Zevon album The Wind. Released on August 26, 2003, the album does not appear in the RIAA's database of certifications, but here it is, presented to a bona fide member of the music industry and complete with his letter of provenance. Given the construction of the award, presence of a RIAA hologram serial number hologram, the chart and Grammy award success of the album, and the fact that there are other copies of this award out there indicates that perhaps the RIAA database is simply missing this entry.  Zevon's 12th and final album released just prior to his untimely death at age 56, it featured "Disorder in the House", with Zevon on vocals and Bruce Springsteen adding guitar and background vocals. A virtual who's who of other guests also appeared on the album, including Jackson Browne, Ry Cooder, Emmylou Harris, Don Henley, David Lindley, Tom Petty, Timothy B. Schmidt, Tommy Shaw, John Waite, Joe Walsh, and Dwight Yoakam. The track won the Grammy for Best Roc
