Join us for Denim Mending, Knit Mending, or both to receive a little discount! 10am-1pm DENIM The morning session will focus on repairing denim staples with the centuries old art of Sashiko and Boro mending. Everyone will try various stitches and learn how to choose techniques that will make a strong, long-lasting repair. We’ll cover best practices with a variety of denim and linen fabrics available for patching and stabilizing your pieces. Please bring your own clothing to mend and any preferred patching fabric you may have. Jeans, chinos, denim skirts/jackets, chambray shirts all work great! Everyone will recieve sashiko needles, threads, floss, and a take-home booklet. 1pm-2pm LUN
