When using these jack stands on the trail we installed an anti-sink plate to the bottom of the jack stand. With a max height of 30", these jack stands will not have a problem reaching most lifted vehicles’ support points. To ensure that these jack stands are as safe as possible, we used a securing pin design. Once the pin is in place there is no question that the rack bar is not going anywhere. There is also two built-in carry handles on each side of the unit. These make it easier to move the jack stand in place.
