75 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom Anaheim chile hot pepper seeds (Capsicum annuum) per packet. Grows to 7 in long and 1.5 in wide. Produce 2,000 Scoville Heat Units. Mildly hot. Grows upright in a more bushy formation. Great for canning, salsas, cooking, sauces, and recipes. Originated centuries ago in New Mexico and popularized in Southern California. Smoky and pepper flavor with a touch of sweetness. Start seeds indoors as early as 8 weeks before last frost 0.25 in into pots. Maintain soil temp to 80-85F to germinate, 7-14 days. Use grow light or provide sunlight for 12+ hours a day. Transplant outdoors when soil temp is 65F during the day and over 50F at night. Harden off to cold for a week before transplanting outdoors. Grows well in soil, containers, or bed. Mulch around plants to control weeds and keep in moisture. 75 days to maturity.
