Jalapeño Hot Pepper Seeds

100 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom jalapeno hot pepper seeds (Capsicum annuum) per packet. Reach 5,000 Scoville Heat Units at maturity in around 75 days. Grow to 3-4 in long and 1.5 in wide. Plant grows upright to around 3 feet. Revered in salsas, sauces, dishes, and toppings. Originate from Mexico in present day Veracruz. Start seeds indoors as early as 8 weeks before last frost 0.25 in into pots. Maintain soil temp to 80-85F to germinate, 7-14 days. Use grow light or provide sunlight for 12+ hours a day. Transplant outdoors when soil temp is 65F during the day and over 50F at night. Harden off to cold for a week before transplanting outdoors. Grows well in soil, containers, or bed. 75 days to maturity.
