25 open-pollinated, non-gmo, pesticide-free, and heirloom striped klondike blue watermelon seeds (Citrullus lanatus) per packet. Originate from California. Can tolerate direct prolonged sun exposure. Ribbed pattern. Form a oblong shape and grow up to 30 pounds. Direct sow when daytime soil temp reaches 75F. Sow 0.5-1 in deep in mounds, 6-10 ft apart. Needs full sun and loose soil. Or start indoors 0.5-1 in deep 3-4 weeks before last frost. Heat soil to 75-85F. Harden to cold and transplant outdoors 1-2 weeks after last frost. Place strongest 2-3 seedlings in small mounds, 6-10 ft apart. Matures in 80 days. Plant with dill, beans, and marigold.
