Art in the Garden ~ August 2nd
Saturday, August 2nd, 9:30-11:30am For all levels. This is not an art class so much as an opportunity to commune through creative play with the flowers in the garden. Pushing colors around a blank piece of paper or on a coloring page, or even doodling on a scrap of paper is one of the most powerful ways I know to get in touch with your feelings, to connect with your heart and to move energy or emotion. Art making is also a great way to connect with the flower realm but first you have to get out of your head! The moment you try to make your art look “good,” well then you are in your head again. Art in the Garden is not about the end results. It’s about the process, and anyone can do it. Sometimes the end results ARE pleasing to look at, but every time the end results you will certainly receive are peace and respite from the chaotic world.
