1964 Fender Deluxe Amp W/1964 Fender Reverb Unit

For true Fender purists, who are not concerned with the convenience of a combo with on-board reverb, but want the BEST sound possible, this combo of a 1964 Fender Deluxe Amp with 1964 Fender Reverb unit is the creme de la creme. These two were purchased together by original owner and have been together ever since. I will not separate for any reason. Fender Deluxe Reverbs although popular are 2 watts less and the clean channel with added reverb is a little thinner than what you get when you remove the reverb unit and thus do not need the reverb pulling power from the on-board tubes. Therefore, this amp does clean better than the deluxe reverb and the reverb unit does reverb, better than an on-board reverb. This type of combination is NOT for everyone. If you are the average Fender player, who just wants a single amp with reverb, then this is obviously not for you. Please note prior to acquisition both pieces hadn't been serviced in 35 years.
