  Fruit Basket Large Handled Platter / Under Plate marked WEDGeWOOD ( note the misspelling)! Circa 1839 William Smith of Stockton on Tees, Yorkshire England 1825-55 VERY RARE and one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL transferware patterns ever!  Condition: No chips or cracks with exception to one small flake on the handles edge. Measures: Appx 16” handle to handle Marked on back:  stamped and impressed Backstamp: Fruit Basket W S & Co   Impressed:  Wedgewood  * Soup tureen, ladle and other platters are being  sold separately.  This is for the platter/underplate only.
