  Fruit Basket Huge Soup Tureen and Ladle marked WEDGeWOOD ( note the misspelling)! Circa 1839 William Smith of Stockton on Tees, Yorkshire England 1825-55 VERY RARE and one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL transferware patterns ever!  Condition: No chips or cracks with exception to one small flake on the handles edge. Measures: Just under 15" handle to handle x 13" tall to top of lid.  Ladle is app 13" long and the bowl of ladle is app 4 3/4"Marked on back:  stamped and impressed Backstamp: Fruit Basket W S & Co   Impressed:  Wedgewood  * Underplate / Platter is sold separately.  This is for the tureen with its lid and the ladle only. This is an absolutely gorgeous and beautifully detailed multi colored transferware soup tureen with an incredibly detailed basket of fruit with a butterfly hovering above and an ornate, blue floral and faux bois border.  It has very detailed handles.  This is the largest ladle I've seen...the bowl of it almost covers my hand completely. I was so excited to fin
