This coffee is a true testament to the dedication and expertise of Mr. Bodja Gelalcha, whose family has deep roots in the West Welega Zone of Ethiopia. With a rich heritage of coffee farming spanning over two centuries, Bodja, the eldest son in a family of six, combined his passion for education and community development to create Asikana Coffee. Armed with a master's degree in developmental studies, he began Asikana in 2008, with headquarters in Addis Ababa and farm sites in Buri and Kalo, West Welega Zone. Asikana Co-op collaborates with over 1,000 farmers, providing them with extensive training to maintain top-notch coffee quality. The name "Asikana," meaning "we start from here," embodies the company's miss
