  After carefully selecting and blending barrels for this vinegar we let our spontaneously fermented vinegar age for over a year on freshly zested black walnut hulls and dried walnuts. We then added freshly zested hulls just before packaging to encapsulate that nostalgic fresh fall scent. *** For best results, refrigerate product after opening as to slow natural mother formation. As our products are unpasteurized it’s very common to see the development of a Mother culture after opening this product.  Foraged Black Walnut exhibits the following tasting notes: Subtle notes of fall warming spice, Meyer lemon, mossy earth, woodsy tannic pull, soft sweet molasses and brown sugar.
